Springfield Hospital employees donate to the local food shelf

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – In celebration of National Hospital Week, Springfield Hospital employees participated in a food drive to benefit the Springfield Family Center Food Shelf. The 322 kilograms of non-perishable food was delivered to the family center on May 21, after a week of collecting food at various employee events. Springfield Hospital’s motto for the week was “Food Shelf Heroes… We helped fill the shelves.”

“The generosity of the employees was remarkable. They took to heart the importance of helping fill the shelf of the family center,” says Robert Adcock, CEO of Springfield Hospital. “We hope that our contribution has been beneficial to many members of our community,” Adcock continued.
