The Royal Family watch Trooping the Color from the balcony of Buckingham Palace

Prince William celebrates his 42nd birthday today and the Princess of Wales has sent a touching message to mark the occasion.

Taking to the official Kensington Royal social media accounts, she shared a new image of the heir to the throne who appears to be frolicking on a sandy beach with her three children.

Kate Middleton wrote: “Happy Birthday Dad, we all love you so much! cx”

It is not known if the princess personally took the sweet picture.

The emotional message comes after Kate made her first public appearance of the year on the Buckingham Palace balcony at Trooping the Color last weekend.

Commentators couldn’t help but notice how sparse the family looked compared to previous years.

Following the appearance, royal expert Richard Eden claimed that William plans to further weaken the monarchy when he takes the throne.

Writing for MailOnlinequoted a source as saying: “When the older members of the family retire, Her Royal Highness will not invite anyone else to become working members of the family.”

King Charles and Queen Camilla’s horse was beaten at Ascot

Queen Camilla was left more than a little disappointed when the royal horse was beaten on day three of Royal Ascot.

She and King Charles have several horses running in this year’s event, some of which they took over from the late Queen Elizabeth.

Despite good odds for their runner Gilded Water in the King George V Stakes, the horse finished 12th.

Queen Camilla has so far attended every day of the prestigious event, while King Charles has only attended the first and third days.

Prince William’s plans for the future of the Monarchy

This follows what many described as a “rare” appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at last weekend’s Trooping the Colour.

Writing for MailOnlineroyal expert Richard Eden quoted a source as saying: “When the older members of the family retire, Her Royal Highness will not invite anyone else to become members of the family.

“It remains to be seen whether she will even want her two younger children to be members of the royal family.

“This is what William wants. He sees the small European monarchies as a model for the future.”

The royal expert says Kate finds comfort in her children’s routine

The revelation follows Kate’s seemingly triumphant return to public life at Trooping the Color last weekend, where she appeared delighted to see the public again.

Royal historian Amanda Foreman said: “The children won’t remember the mummy shaking their hand or they don’t really care.

“But they will remember mom making cookies (or when) she went to the local store and bought something or took them somewhere.”

PEOPLE the magazine also reports that another anonymous source emphasized the grueling nature of her treatment.

“Treatment is punishing and it’s different for different people. And the side effects can be unforgiving,” they said.

King Charles ‘considers’ American visit to see grandchildren

King Charles is reportedly ‘considering’ a visit across the pond to see his grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Despite the fact that Lilibet is now three years old, it seems that she has only met her grandfather once.

However, as the 75-year-old Monarch is currently battling an undisclosed form of cancer and does not appear to be on the best of terms with his youngest son, who he has not seen since February, it could be some time until this visit takes place.

Royal commentator Tom Quinn said The mirror: “Charles has had discussions about an official visit to the United States at some point in the future, and there is no doubt that if he goes ahead, he would build in time to visit his youngest son and grandchildren, but there are mountains of planning. be overcome before that becomes even a remote possibility.”

William celebrates 42 years after watching England lose to Denmark at Euro 2024

The Prince of Wales will be celebrating his 42nd birthday today.

William was in Frankfurt, Germany, hoping to see England beat Denmark at Euro 2024 as an early birthday present. Instead, the chairman of the Football Association of England had to see the Three Lions draw 1-1 in the second match of the tournament.

Since his birthday last year, William has launched a five-year drive to eradicate homelessness in six locations across the UK, called Homewards.

The kingdom has had a difficult year with both his wife, the Princess of Wales, and father, the King, being diagnosed with cancer.

Kate made her first public appearance since 2023 at the King’s official birthday parade alongside William and their three children.

Queen Camilla is no longer ‘evil stepmother’

This was clear for all to see yesterday when the pair arrived at Royal Ascot in a carriage together without their partners, who are both battling cancer.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said GOOD! magazine: “Recent events have obviously brought William and Camilla closer together. They were left, almost literally, to nurse the Crown while the King and Princess recovered.

“Their teams will be working more closely to coordinate diaries and cover engagements that have been planned, and Camilla and William are sure to have been in much closer regular contact.”

The pair’s burgeoning relationship is the complete opposite of what Prince Harry feared in his 2023 memoir Spare.

He wrote: “I remember wondering… if she would be cruel to me; if only she were like all the bad stepmothers in the stories.”
