The rain is slowly moving east, but scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, with more widespread heavy rain this evening in southeastern KELOLAND. Also check out our statewide coverage.


Sioux Falls police have helped the FBI find five fugitives, and at least two of the suspects may be connected to international crimes. Together, the five people are accused of stealing from businesses in at least 11 states and two countries.


The man accused of killing Moody County Chief Deputy Ken Prorok was back in Moody County Court Thursday for a hearing. According to court documents, Joseph Hoek of Sioux Falls swerved and hit Prorock during a pursuit.


Vermillion has an award-winning school lunch program. The district recently won a “Beet Turnip” award from the United States Department of Agriculture.
