Daisy May Cooper showed off her glamorous new makeover on Thursday during her first public outing since welcoming baby boy Benji earlier this month.

The actress, 37, looked stunning in a plunging black dress as she strolled with boyfriend Anthony Huggins and their new bundle of joy on their way to record the baby’s birth.

Daisy gave birth to Benji “earlier than expected” this month, with the baby spending time in the neonatal unit.

Last week, she gave fans a health update, revealing that her newborn is “doing brilliantly” as she shared a snap from her hospital bed.

And it seems Benji has recovered well as proud parents Daisy and Bristol DJ Anthony, 45, took the tot to Cirencester Library to make his arrival official.

The This Country star certainly made an effort for the special outing, looking red carpet ready in the black lace dress, which she paired with sparkly silver mules.

Daisy – who has embraced a life of sobriety also rocked her glam make-up for the day, sweeping her hair back in a loose outfit tied with a black ribbon.

Proving to be the ever doting mother, she also carried bottles of milk for her little one.

She flashed a warm smile as she clung to her boyfriend DJ’s arm as he proudly pushed his new son in his pram.

The actress previously told The Sun about the impact quitting alcohol had on her parenting.

“Just taking alcohol out of the equation means I have time for my kids that I never had before,” she said.

“I remember rushing to read their bedtime story because I wanted them to fall asleep so I could go downstairs and have a drink and watch Married At First Sight. Now I can be fully present.

She went on to say that giving up drinking was “the greatest gift I’ve ever given myself,” adding: “I would recommend sobriety to anyone. It’s still early days, but it’s changed my life.

Benji is Daisy’s first child with her boyfriend Anthony – who was also seen cradling her little one after the birth.

Her famous friends were quick to offer their congratulations under the post, including from Holly Willoughby, Laura Whitmore and Sian Welby.

Announcing the birth on Instagram, Daisy shared a video of mum and baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, captioning the post: ‘What a bloody week…

“You came a little earlier than we expected and gave me the worst post-op constipation I almost had to call the Samaritans, but oh my god, you’re perfect.”

Last week, Daisy took to Instagram to say she was very grateful to everyone for their “beautiful messages”, while also giving an update on Benji.

The comedian shared a photo of herself cradling Benji while he was still in hospital, along with a comical update.

She wrote: ‘Update: Ignore the saucer sized areola… little Benji is doing brilliantly. Thank you so much for all your beautiful messages xx.’

She announced her pregnancy with Anthony in March after a whirlwind romance after they met on dating app Hinge.

Daisy already has two children, daughter Pip, five, and son Jack, three, with ex-husband Will Weston.

Anthony, who has two children from a previous relationship, is a DJ on the Bristol night scene and plays club shows under the name ‘Fuse One’.

Apparently he moved into Daisy’s house in the Cotswolds last year.

The couple met by match on Hinge. They were first spotted together attending a car boot sale in Cheltenham, but the BAFTA TV Awards were their first notable public appearance as a couple in May.
