Vivian S. Handel nee Schatzman, 98. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Paul Schutz and the late Richard Handel. Loving mother of Dr. Ronald (Liz Eiting) Schutz and Dr. Charles (Bea) Schutz. Dear grandmother of Paul (Lauren) Schutz and Mark Schutz. Proud great grandmother of Isla. Preceded in death by dear siblings, Marvin (Ruth) Schatzman, Janet (Milton) Rappeport and Walter Schatzman. Also preceded in death by her adored parents, Ancil Schatzman and Sophie Schatzman, nee Edelson. She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, many cousins ​​and very dear friends. She was a proud alumna of Hyde Park High School and the University of Illinois. She began her career as a social worker for Cook County and served many distinguished years as a dedicated elementary school teacher in the Chicago Public School system.
