Texas A&M bats beat Tennessee in MCWS Finals Game 1 win

OMAHA – Gavin Grahovac set the tone immediately with the leadoff home run in Game 1 of the men’s CWS final, and Texas A&M followed suit in a 9-5 victory over Tennessee.

Every Texas A&M batter reached base on either a hit or a walk (Jace LaViolette was the only hitless Aggie).

Caden Sorrell drove in a second run on Grahovac’s opposite-field homer in the first on an RBI single, and although the Volunteers got one on the board in the bottom of the second inning, the Aggies would throw for five at the top. third.
