HBO ended with “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Seinfeld” Alec Berg

HBO has inked “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Seinfeld” veteran Alec Berg to a two-year overall deal.

The director and screenwriter currently serves as executive producer and showrunner on HBO’s Mike Judge comedy “Silicon Valley.” The new deal calls for Berg to develop new projects for pay cable and oversee other prospects. “Silicon Valley” is set to bow on April 6.

Berg spent four seasons on Larry David laffer’s HBO’s “Curb,” and before that worked with David on NBC’s “Seinfeld.” In the feature film business, he wrote and produced the 2012 Sacha Baron Cohen vehicle “The Dictator” and wrote the 2004 comedy “Eurotrip.”

Berg is represented by UTA and attorney Ken Richman of Hansen Jacobson.
