British politician faces condemnation as he shifts blame for Russia’s war on the West

Nigel Farage, Britain’s reform leader, has suggested that the West’s provocation of the Ukraine war played into Putin’s hands, but other British officials say he is the one doing it.

This according to Sky News.

“What he said was completely wrong and it only plays into Putin’s hands (…) And this kind of silence is dangerous to Britain’s security, the security of our allies who rely on us, and it only emboldens him even more much on Putin”, reacted the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. to Nigel Farage telling the BBC that the West caused the war in Ukraine.

Labour’s environment secretary Steve Reed was shocked by Farage’s comments and said everyone had a chance to witness “Nigel Farage getting down on his knees and kissing Vladimir Putin’s boots”. He also assured that the Labor Party is not about to give up its support for Ukraine.

Farage used to share posts on social media that he was one of the few people telling the truth about the war with Russia. Earlier, one of the candidates in the reform election, disappointed the party by saying that Britain “should have taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality”.

It should be noted that before the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Ukraine did not participate in any negotiations with NATO, while in 2023-2024 Finland and Sweden joined the alliance.
