45 minutes until kick-off: Team news has arrived! Here are your starting lineups for tonight’s game.

USA (4-3-3, from right to left): 1. Turner (GK) — 22. Scally, 3. Richards, 13. Ream, 5. A. Robinson — 7. Reyna, 4. Adams, 8. McKennie — 21. Weah, 20. Balogun, 10. Pulisic.

1 hour until the start: Panama lost a player for the Copa America, having only 25 people on their roster instead of the allowed 26, due to a very unpleasant quirk. Panama captain Anibal Godoy injured his thigh in the warm-up friendly against Paraguay and had to be dropped from the squad, with Xelaju defender Harold Cummings added as an injury replacement before the competition began.

Except then Cummings decided to decline the call-up after Panama had already registered him as part of their roster. As he was not injured, he could not be substituted himself and so Panama remained a man down in the competition. An unfortunate situation overall.

1 hour and 30 minutes until the start: While the group final against Uruguay might seem like the most important game for the USMNT in this Copa America group stage, it’s not – tonight’s game is arguably the one they have. must win as they can confirm a knockout spot with a win.

If they fail to secure three points tonight, leaving their fate on the line against a Copa America title contender is a dangerous path indeed. Landon Donovan agrees, telling ESPN’s SportsCenter that “we’ve got to win.”

“You don’t want to go into the third game against a very good Uruguay team that has to win that game.”

2 hours before the start: Welcome to live coverage of USA vs. The Sporting News’ Panama on the ground at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Win the match and the knockout phase beckons for the United States.
