KMKT (93.1 Katy Country)/Sherman-Denison, TX chief content officer and morning host Zac Grantham (pictured) is out in a series of Alpha Media budget cuts. He has been with KMKT since 2013. Grantham joined the station from Country KKAJ-FM/Ardmore, OK, where he served as promotion director and afternoon host. He also watched nights at KGNC in Amarillo.

At the same time, Alan Freemont is leaving as director of content and afternoon host at AC co-owner KLAK (97.5 K-Lake). Freemont has been with KLAK since 2007, handling morning, afternoon and production director duties during that time. Freemont also aired on Westwood One’s Classic Hits and Classic Rock formats.

Sister KMAD-FM (Mad Rock 102.5), afternoon host Scott Kilian is also out. However, KMAD cluster operations manager and content director and morning host “Big Dave” Hilton is surviving the cuts.
