Michael Chandler seems to be entertaining the idea of fighting someone other than Conor McGregor, suggesting he would be interested in fighting Nate Diaz at September’s upcoming UFC 306 event at The Sphere in Las Vegas, aka “Riyadh Season Noche FC”.

“Better idea – me and @NateDiaz209 wrestle like real men while Conor sits on a yacht watching PPV in slippers. #ufcnoche #riyadhseason,” Chandler wrote about X.

Chandler then proceeded to make a few more shots at his rival McGregor’s pot.

“New ‘Where’s Waldo’ – Mac Daddy had a great run though….” Chandler wrote in response to a fan who stated that, “Conor will not fight again.”

Meanwhile, Chandler also responded to a fan who asked what his strategy is to fight McGregor.

“Instill fear…let him retire from the fight and be ashamed of himself, be known as the guy who retired McGregor without ever throwing a punch…” Chandler said.

Whether Diaz would be interested in fighting Chandler is another matter.

On Saturday night, the Stockton star avenged a loss to Jorge Masvidal by knocking him out on the tables in a boxing match, then declared his interest in rematching Jake Paul in the boxing ring or fighting the champion UFC welterweight, Leon Edwards.
