A Bronx man accused of murder in Manhattan has walked out of NYPD custody

The Bronx man charged in connection with a Manhattan murder was walked out of a New York City police precinct on Wednesday.

Chad Irish, 55, faces charges of murder, criminal possession of a weapon and concealment of a human corpse.

Police say on July 5 they responded to a call about a suspicious package on East 27th Street and found the body of 31-year-old Yazmeen Williams in a sleeping bag with a gunshot wound to the head.
