Oblix at The Shard brings a unique flair to American Independence Day celebrations with a taste of the USA in the form of two special events. Sleek and contemporary bar and restaurant located on the 32nd floor of The Shard, Oblix is \u200b\u200bintroducing a late-night brunch on the 4th.th<\/sup> July and an American-inspired afternoon tea available from 1St<\/sup> at 7th<\/sup> from July.<\/p>\n

The nightly brunch, the first of its kind for Oblix, promises an evening of entertainment, a three-course dinner and panoramic views of the London skyline. The menu, priced at \u00a362 per person for seated guests, will include a variety of dishes including Burrata with Olives, Granola and Datterini Tomatoes<\/em> among beginners Roasted spring chicken with lemon, black pepper and rosemary<\/em> for mains and a selection of signature desserts to end the meal on a sweet note. Guests can also opt for an upgrade to enjoy free-flowing cocktails, bubbles or champagne alongside live music performances by DJ ‘Molto Music’ accompanied by a soul singer and live saxophonist. Bar-only tickets are also available, priced at \u00a320, including a free cocktail.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Oblix West hosts an American-inspired afternoon tea. The menu will include freshly baked blueberry scones, a chocolate peanut praline rocker and a selection of pastries inspired by American flavors such as an apple, pecan and maple tart and red velvet cake with chocolate sauce . Afternoon tea will be held daily from 12:00pm to 4:00pm and aims to offer an offering that combines traditional British tea culture with American classics.<\/p>\n

Oblix, which was the first restaurant to open in The Shard in Spring 2013, continues to be a destination for those looking for sophisticated dining experiences with stunning views of London. The restaurant’s American Independence Day celebrations are an opportunity for guests to enjoy a memorable culinary celebration that bridges the culinary traditions of the UK and the US.<\/p>\n
