2024 Marion County Fair – Ohio Farm Bureau

The Marion County Farm Bureau would like to invite everyone to visit the Marion County Fair July 1-6. The fair’s schedule of events can be found here. Check out this year’s Farm Bureau sponsored events!

The Feed bag decoration contest is a competition where you, individually or as a team, decorate a feed sack with an agricultural theme to be judged. Judging for the Feed Sack Decorating Contest will begin on Friday, July 5th at 1:15pm in the Evers Arena. Winners will be announced at 2:00 PM prior to the Barnyard Olympics. Participants can pick up their feed bag to begin decorating after 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 1 at the Junior Fair Board office. There are teams and individual divisions: teams are two or more people in the same age group. Age groups are as follows: 8 years and under, 9 – 10 years, 11 – 13 years, 14 – 15 years, 16 – 18 years and 19 years -old and older. There will be cash prizes for individual winners and milkshake tickets for team winners!

Barnyard Olympics is a fun obstacle course where teams test their aim and agility. The Barnyard Olympics will begin on Friday, July 5th at 2pm in Evers Arena. Registration starts at 1:15pm so teams can register to receive their numbered tags. All participants will receive a free milkshake voucher at the 4-H Milkshake Booth!
