Boston Celtics Unlocked” at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A grand opening at the Basketball Hall of Fame honors the history and legacy of the Boston Celtics with a new exhibit.

This exhibit won’t be around forever, but we’re told there’s no better way to fully immerse yourself in the team’s history!

On Thursday we learned that the C’s will now face the Dallas Mavericks in the highly anticipated NBA Finals.

But a possible 18th banner coming home to Boston isn’t the only thing Celtics fans have to look forward to.

The Vault will give fans an inside look at the team’s history through an engaging exhibit that is expected not to disappoint.

From Walter Brown to Jaylen Brown, Celtics legends past and present are the guides for this unique experience.

You can see all kinds of artifacts firsthand, from game-worn jerseys to championship rings, even the ’81 NBA championship trophy, all on display.

The “Vault” was built in partnership with MassMutual and is expected to be around for a limited time only.
