Man accused in fatal shooting in Okolona indicted by grand jury

A man accused in connection with a fatal shooting in Okolona has been indicted by a grand jury. The Louisville Metro Police Department says that earlier this month, Nathan Short was arguing with Nicolas Wedding and a woman at a home on Versailles Lane. Court records say Nunta followed the woman upstairs and that’s when Short shot him multiple times. Wedding was taken to hospital and rushed into surgery, but died shortly afterwards. Short is charged with murder. He is scheduled to return to court next week.

A man charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Okolona has been indicted by a grand jury.

The Louisville Metro Police Department says that earlier this month, Nathan Short was arguing with Nicolas Wedding and a woman at a home on Versailles Lane.

Court records say Wedding followed the woman upstairs and that’s when Short shot him multiple times.

Wedding was taken to hospital and rushed into surgery, but died shortly afterwards.

Short is charged with murder.

He is scheduled to return to court next week.
