Conor McGregor is enjoying another night out in a Dublin pub, just four weeks after his fight with Michael Chandler

Conor McGregor was in town again on Friday night, with his first fight in three years just weeks away.

The Irishman rang in UFC 303 fight month at his Dublin hotspot The Black Forge Inn for the urban ‘Influence’ pub night. And he let fans know what they were missing as he posted a series of videos and pictures from the event.

McGregor is set to face Michael Chandler on June 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. But he has been spotted partying several times throughout his fight camp, with his latest coming just four weeks after fight night.

Conor McGregor is enjoying another night of partying ahead of UFC 303

Former two-weight world champion McGregor shared a series of posts on Instagram in the early hours of Saturday morning, appearing at an event in his pub in Dublin. In the footage, he can be seen dancing and singing with friends and partygoers as they enjoy the event.

McGregor claimed to have been banned from alcohol for a long time during the fight camp and notably did not drink or even hold bottles during any of his late night posts. But fans and pundits have been concerned as he enjoys late nights ahead of his return to the Octagon.

In one film, McGregor can be heard encouraging event attendees to take sips of his Proper Twelve whiskey from behind the camera. And he appeared to be with teammates, as The Ultimate Fighter contestant Lee Hammond could be seen in a video.

This isn’t his first night during the battle camp either; Last week, he infamously shared and deleted a video of himself bragging about being out after 2.15am.

In an interview with The Mac Life, McGregor explained that he was able to abstain from alcohol, saying: “I’ve had enough drinks in my time that I can abstain wholeheartedly and say ‘yeah, it’s time to train hard and call.

“I’m happy out there, I’m in a great place, it doesn’t bother me. I flipped a switch. I always had a flip of a switch.”

Conor McGregor’s pre-fight party has fans and pundits worried ahead of UFC 303

McGregor had become famous for his frequent parties during his three-year absence from the cage after breaking his leg during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in the summer of 2021. But he was expected to retire as his fight he was approaching.

And the comment sections on his posts were flooded with comments from concerned fans, who posted messages such as “Bro you fight in a month bro” and “Conor on that Ryan Garcia regiment”. Another added that “Conor doesn’t really give ***.”

Chandler has been much more understated about his build-up before the fight, sharing frequent clips from the gym where he looks ripped before their clash. The pair agreed to fight each other early last year and even trained against each other on The Ultimate Fighter.

Unfortunately, dates were pushed back and they were unable to sign an event until late last year, when McGregor announced they would meet on June 29. Their fight is already the highest-grossing in UFC history and headlines International Fight Week in Las Vegas.

Conor McGregor will go head-to-head with Michael Chandler at Monday’s sold-out event

McGregor and Chandler will come face-to-face for the first time since filming The Ultimate Fighter on Monday. The pair are due to attend a press conference at Dublin’s 3Arena, with tickets selling out in five minutes for the 12,000-capacity venue.

The American will fly to his rival’s hometown with promotion boss Dana White before returning to the United States where he will finish the camp. Chandler is expected to be criticized by a strongly pro-McGregor crowd in the Irish capital.

The last time the pair faced off on the show, things got physical when McGregor shoved Chandler in the face during one of the fights. Eventually, White had to run into the cage to stop things from progressing into a further fight.

And McGregor even teased another night on the tiles on Monday, with his pub hosting an official party after the event. DJ Karl Mac will headline proceedings after the UFC legend personally asked him to play.
