Man dies after being hit by train in Springfield

A man died after being struck by a train at 11th and Edwards in Springfield on Friday, according to the Springfield Police Department.

Police say the incident happened at 10:25 a.m

The man was taken to HSHS St. John’s for treatment, but did not survive.
