So far there has been a record number of entries for the race, with runners of all ages and abilities preparing to don their charity vests for the race. Whether you’re a keen runner, an elite athlete or a beginner, this event is a great opportunity to support the crucial work carried out by these charities in local communities and across the UK.

Race director Judith Manson said: “With a greater number and variety of charity partners, I am incredibly proud of our collaborative efforts to make a difference in our community. Once again, we are so privileged to join such inspirational causes and individuals as we head into race day.

“The stories and triumphs we get to be a part of never fail to move us, and we’re delighted that at a time when donations are reported to be down across the board, we’re helping to buck that trend and hope for a record-breaking year of raising funds in 2024.”
