SWAT situation reported in DeKalb County, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – SWAT units responded to a shooting that left a woman with “life-threatening injuries,” DeKalb County police said.

DeKalb County police said officers responded to the 4800 block of Memorial Drive around 10:15 p.m. Friday and found a woman with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said officers located a possible suspect and “contained” him at a nearby motel.

The woman was taken to the hospital with “life-threatening injuries,” according to police.
