Daicos did that in just 59 games.

On the Collingwood front, he now holds the club record for most frees in a single game with 16.

He surpassed Nathan Buckley’s record of 15 frees, which was set back in 1998.

On top of that, Daicos also claimed the Collingwood record for most contested possessions in a single game with a whopping 27 to his name.

He beat teammate Steele Sidebottom, who previously held the record with 26 contested touchdowns in 2018.

Daicos finished the game with 32 disposals and one goal.

But despite Daicos’ best efforts, his injured side could not do enough to beat the Dogs.

Pies coach Craig McRae wasn’t happy with his side’s first round two loss at the hands of the Saints.

“We’re not hardened enough,” McRae admitted after the game.

“A lot of good things happen, but then it’s not (being) able to do it for four quarters a minute for this group.”

They face Melbourne in Round 13 as part of the Kings’ birthday clash at the MCG on Monday, June 10.
