The Sioux City Convention Center hosts the SUX Pride event

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – SUX Pride hosted its 7th pride event at the Sioux City Convention Center.

The celebration was filled with performances, educational seminars and food trucks for attendees to enjoy.

With visitors from all over the Midwest, the SUX Pride event was another celebration for people to come together.

“The LGBTQ community and pride is about love, celebrating each other and welcoming everyone,” said Brian Meland, director of entertainment for SUX Pride. “You don’t have to be part of the LGBTQ community to be here. We just want everyone to have fun.”

SUX Pride will wrap up pride weekend with a drag brunch at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Sunday at 11am.
