Adele has launched a vitriolic tirade against a homophobic heckler who shouted “Pride sucks” at her concert.

On Saturday (June 1), as Pride month kicked off, the singer, who is known to interact candidly with members of her audience, was left fuming at the interruption during her last Las Vegas Colosseum performance at Caesars Palace.

After hearing the unnamed man loudly criticize the movement dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, Adele called him out in a video that has since gone viral on social media.

The ‘Hello’ and ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ singer responded: ‘You came to my show and said Pride sucks? Esti al naibii de prost? Don’t be so ridiculous. If you don’t have anything nice to say, shut up, okay?

The singer was praised online, with one person writing on X/Twitter: “I love Adele for this!” Another added: “Adele always speaks her mind, that’s why I love her, she doesn’t give af,” with one person adding: “Having ADELE of all people lead you astray means you’ve really said the wrong thing.”

Others pointed out how embarrassing it must be to be called out by the star you went to see.

Adele has been a strong supporter of Pride over the years and has called the LGBTQ+ community “her soul mates since I was really young.”

Following an attack on members of the LGBTQ+ community in 2016, Adele dedicated her “entire show to everyone in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night.”

Adele previously went viral after the singer interrupted a concert to support a fan who was reportedly being beaten by a security guard.

The singer was in the middle of performing her 2015 song “Water Under the Bridge” in August 2023 when she saw a situation on stage.

“What’s going on over there with that young fan who’s been so upset since I came because he stood up?” asked the Grammy winner, adding; “Why are you bothering him? Can you leave him alone please? They won’t bother you anymore, honey. You like the show. Leave him alone.”
