Three-star CB Kaylib Singleton builds deeper bond with OV’s Florida staff

Orange Park (Fla.) Three-star cornerback from Fleming Island Kaylib Singleton it’s been a long time Florida target and began his official visit schedule in Gainesville, remaining the latest of any visitor over the weekend. Coming into his official visit, Singleton felt like he was being courted heavily by the Gators, and the staff showed him how much of a priority he was while in town. The in-state three-star spent the weekend getting to know different coaches and players around the program, allowing him to feel closer to Florida.

“I like the relationship we’ve built with the players,” Singleton said. I went to their dorm and stuff and talked.”

Singleton was hosted by a true freshman Teddy Fostera class of 2024 addition that showed flashes during the spring.

“I was talking to Teddy Foster, a new 2024 cornerback who just came in,” Singleton said. “I built a relationship with him and he asked me questions about school and stuff like that and if I were to get hired, what school would I consider going to.”

The University of Florida has a lot to offer, but Singleton’s favorite aspects are about the gridiron. During his official, Singleton was introduced to new outfielder Beyah Rasool, who works with the defensive backs.

“I just love school and football, that’s what makes me stand out,” Singleton said. “Knowing the coaches, they just got a new coach, Beyah Rasool. I got to know him a lot and built relationships with them. He was taking us places so I got to talk to him a lot. It was cool.”
