Third and final suspect in 2018 shooting arrested on murder charge in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN ( CLARKSVILLE NOW ) – The third and final suspect has been arrested in a June 2018 drug deal-turned-shooting that left a Clarksville man dead.

Terrance Sharell Taylor, 26, was arrested May 16 on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated robbery in the death of James Wells, 30, in a club parking lot. night.

Clarksville police previously arrested 27-year-old Shundarion Dayqwhon Taylor and 31-year-old Kylando Catwan Mason. They were indicted by the June 2023 session of the Montgomery County grand jury on charges of murder and robbery.

Wells was found by police with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. He was transported by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville and died from his injuries.

Police later found a handgun at Shundarion Dayqwhon Taylor’s residence with a spent casing in the gun’s chamber, according to previous reports.
