The Queer Art Walk will take place at First Fridays this weekend

SPOKANE, Wash. “Looking for some plans on Friday, June 7?” Check out Downtown Spokane’s Queer Art Walk for First Friday!

The Queer Art Walk will feature queer artists in support of Pride Month.

In June, there will be 16 locations participating in the monthly art walk.

Throughout the month, according to the Downtown Spokane Partnership, you can go to five locations in downtown Spokane that will feature art that dives into themes of identity, equality, love and resilience.

Interested in seeing more art? You can go to Indaba Coffee Roasters on West Riverside Avenue and watch a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Expo ’74. This show will take place throughout the month of June.

You can also check out Entropy’s “Ganymade Geeks” exhibit, which runs from June 7th to July 1st. There will also be an artist reception on Friday, June 7, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
