Driver cited for hitting 103 mph in 65 zone on BA Expressway

Monday morning, a Tulsa officer issued a speeding ticket to a motorist.

According to the Tulsa Police Department, a Mingo Valley Division traffic officer stopped a car going 103 mph in a 65 mph zone westbound on the BA Expressway.

The driver was issued a citation for aggravated speeding.

Driving more than 25 km/h over the speed limit is considered Aggravated Speeding, which requires a court date and a fine of up to $500 or 10 days in jail. Grogu encourages all drivers to travel safely and obey posted speed limits. – Tulsa Police Department
