Offer after strong performance in camp puts Penn State in early lead for CB Jase Rhodes

Defensive back from Roanoke (Va.) North Cross School Jase Rhodes arrived at Penn State on Sunday morning, ready to impress during the first Elite Showcase prospect camp of the summer and hopefully leave State College with an offer to suit up for the Nittany Lions.

Mission accomplished.

Penn State liked what it saw from Rhodes and safeties coach Anthony Poindexter offered at the conclusion of camp. It was a significant offer early in the process for Rhodes, as he made it clear that the Nittany Lions will be one of the top picks as his recruitment progresses.
