Liberal man injured in motorcycle accident

A Liberal man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 8:30 p.m. Sunday on NW 40th, four miles west of Liberal.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2021 RPS 250 dirt bike driven by Mark I. Troit, 33, Liberal, turned left at a high rate of speed, Troit lost control and was ejected.

Troit was treated for minor injuries at Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar.
