Lawrence Luce Obituary – Suffield, CT

Lawrence K. Luce, 83, formerly of Suffield, died Thursday (May 16, 2002) after a brief illness. Born December 29, 1918 in Springfield, MA, he was the husband of the late Amelia (Paczosa) Luce and the son of the late Daniel and Helen (Doyle) Luce. He attended Springfield schools. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Luce was retired from HI-G Inc., Windsor Locks, where he was general manager. He was an avid golfer. She loved being with family and friends, she is survived by a daughter, Sandra Hayden and her husband, Dr. James G. Hayden; and a nephew, Michael Hayden of Easthampton, MA. He also leaves a son, Kenneth Luce and his wife Barbara Luce of East Longmeadow, MA; two nieces, Corinne Luce of East Longmeadow MA and Kelley Luce Roche and her husband James Roche; and a great-grandson, Jackson Roche of South Salem, NY. He leaves his sister, Helen Barker of Springfield, MA; and a brother, Francis Luce of Granby. A brother, Thomas Luce of Springfield, MA, predeceased him. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. A private burial and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
