Trent DiGiuro Foundation Hosts Charity Raffle With Rare, Allocated Bourbon – Lane Report

GOSHEN, Ky – Tickets are now on sale for a bourbon charity raffle hosted by the Oldham County nonprofit Trent DiGiuro Foundation with a choice of 25 rare and allocated bourbon prizes. The raffle includes a six-bottle vertical of ‘Pappy’ as the grand prize, with a Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 23 Year Old, Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 20 Year Old, Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 15 Year Old, Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye 13 Year Old, Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot “B” 12 years and Old Rip Van Winkle 10 years.

Set for Wednesday, June 26, raffle proceeds will support various scholarship initiatives in honor and memory of the foundation’s namesake, a University of Kentucky offensive lineman and South Oldham High School graduate who tragically died just three days before turn 21 years old. on July 17, 1994. The foundation annually awards scholarships to graduating student-athletes from Oldham County High School, South Oldham High School and North Oldham High School, along with a scholarship to a UK walk-on football player.

“Funds raised through this raffle will have a significant impact on the lives of local student-athletes and help keep Trent’s memory alive,” said Mike DiGiuro, Trent’s father and CEO of the foundation. “We hope that individuals in our community and beyond will support this event, helping to fund our important work, while having the chance to win some fantastic prizes.”

In addition to the grand raffle prize, some of the other prizes include a bottle of Daniel Weller, a pair of Van Winkle 12 and 10 years, a bottle of Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged and more.

The raffle is held in partnership with Elizabethtown nonprofit Give 270. After raising more than $1 million in support of the central Kentucky region through charitable gaming initiatives and signature events, the nonprofit launched bourbonraffles.org earlier this year. This platform aims to provide fundraising opportunities to a wider range of worthwhile nonprofits and initiatives. The first raffle hosted on the platform took place in March and benefited the Wizdom Foundation of Louisville.

“Following the success of our first raffle on this new platform, we at Give 270 are excited about the potential financial impact this upcoming raffle has for such an important organization,” said Kenny Rambo, co-founder of Give 270. ” This platform allows us to expand our philanthropic reach and we are proud to partner with the Trent DiGiuro Foundation.”

The upcoming raffle, officially titled Bourbon Raffles Serial No. 002, will be held live on the Give 270 Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, June 26 at 8pm following Give 270’s weekly Whiskey Whisdays raffle.

Tickets are $100 and will be available for purchase until 7pm on the day of the draw. A total of 1,000 tickets are available for the raffle. Subject to availability, there is no limit to the number of tickets purchased per person.
