ILLINOIS STATE FAIR IN SPRINGFIELD OPENS TODAY

The Illinois State Fair Ticket Office in Springfield opens today for in-person ticket purchases. Regular hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Today only, in-person Tribune ticket purchasers will be entered into a drawing to win two pre-show tickets. Additionally, those who purchase Fairytales on Ice tickets in person today will receive a free admission ticket to the Illinois State Fair for every ice show ticket purchased.

In addition to concert tickets, fairgoers can purchase tickets at the box office for events at the Arena, including the Illinois State Fair Rodeo on August 10, the ITPA Truck and Tractor Pulls from August 12 to 14, the Demolition Derby on August 17, USAC Silver Crown Racing Series on August 17th, and the ARCA Super Series on August 18th.

Discounted Mega Passes are available for purchase at the Emmerson Building or online. Mega passes are $80 and Jumbo passes, which include the Giant Slide, are $90 until July 31st. Prices will increase by $20 starting August 1st.

The pass, priced at $45, provides 11 admissions on any day to the 2024 Illinois State Fair. A season parking pass, which allows parking on the grounds for all 11 days of the fair, can be purchased for $40 .
