Marion County officers arrest a teenager for inappropriate behavior with a minor

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – Marion County Sheriff’s deputies arrest an Ocala teenager accused of lewd or lascivious assault on a girl between the ages of 12 and 16.

Daveion Green, 18, was arrested Sunday at his Ocala residence on the felony charge.

According to the arrest report, Green was allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with a minor between the ages of 12 and 16. The two had met a month ago on Instagram and had been in communication for a few weeks.

Last week, Green asked the victim to the movies. On May 18, he picked up the victim and they went to a Starbucks. Green asked her to give him oral sex, and then the two continued to have sex in the parking lot. The victim claims the interaction caused pain in her pelvic area.

The two continued their sexual interactions the next day in the victims’ home. At some point, the victim realized that Green was recording her during sex, including her comments during the interactions. The victim claims she ignored the phone to avoid making the situation embarrassing.

The victim claims she was in extreme pain from the interaction, which the defendant knew about but continued.

The next day, the defendant sent a video of their sexual interaction via Instagram, but deleted it before the victim could see it. One of the victim’s friends saw the video online and screen recorded it before sending it to the victim.

The video is twenty seconds long and features the victim’s genitals.

Officers initially attempted to locate Green at his listed address, but found new tenants who had just moved into the area who did not know the defendant.

Green was later arrested at his home in Ocala.
