After 17 levels of play in Event #10: $10,000 8 or Better Omaha Hi-Lo Championship (8 Hands) TO Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas the current chip leader is Sami Saad El-Dein (1,350,000) here at 2024 World Series of Poker. Jared Bleznick (1,200,000) is right behind him in second place and Day 1 chip leader Scott Seiver (1,055,000) is currently in third place.

After 26 players entered during late registration on Day 2, the field of 197 players dropped to 26. The total prize pool is $1,832,100 with a minimum cash of $20,309 and the top prize is $426,744.

Day 2 Top Ten Chip Counts

Of the 26 players left, many big names remain in the field. Notable players like Shaun Deeb, Benny Glaser, Robert Mizrachi and John Henniganwho is fresh off winning event no. 7: $1,500 dealer’s choice (6 hands).

There were several stars of the poker world eliminated on Day 2, including Daniel Negreanu , Phil Hellmuth, Eric Seidel, Chris Brewer, Josh Arieh, Mike Matusowand Stephen Chidwick to name a few.

Another notable knockout occurred when Allen Kessler he showed the nuts before moving all in on the turn after mistakenly believing his opponent had moved all in. However, the river didn’t give Kessler his best hand again and after his opponent pushed him all in for his last 6,000 chips, he was out. .

After 23 hands of hand-for-hand play, Patrick Leonard was the unfortunate bubble boy after being forced all-in from the big blind.

Remaining payments

Players will resume action at 13:00 local time on June 3rd at level 18 with a betting limit of 20,000/40,000. There will be 90-minute levels, with a 10-minute break after each level and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 22. The plan is to whittle down to the final five players, who will return on Tuesday, June 4, to crown a champion.
