Spokane Valley Police Search for Missing, Endangered Elderly Man |

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Spokane Valley police are looking for a missing elderly man who they believe may not have the necessary medication with him.

Michael Hanson, 71, is currently missing.

Staff at the assisted living home where Michael Hanson lives called to report him missing. He left without checking in sometime on May 30, 2024. He is free to come and go from the facility, but he has never been away this long and they are concerned for his welfare.

Michael Hanson has medical issues and is not believed to have needed medication with him.

Michael Hanson is described as a 71-year-old white male, approximately 5’06”, 150 lbs, with short white hair and is believed to be walking. He is known to roam the Spokane Valley and often visits Fred Meyer.
