Emma Davis, QLD Managing Director at UnLtd said:

“It was fantastic to see the Brisbane industry come out in force to support UnLtd and our charities and what a fun day it was, even in the wet conditions! We have had several people who have never played golf before willing to give it a go to support our cause and we are so grateful to everyone who has supported through sponsorship, hole activations, playing on a team , donated prizes or bought a raffle ticket. “

Before the day started, the players stopped to listen to Aunty Kathryn Fisher, an Aboriginal elder representing Turrbal Dippil, give a moving welcome to country in recognition of the week’s event national reconciliation.

Players were treated to plenty of surprises along the way, with games, sweets, snacks and cocktails at hole activation and even a special live music performance by country musician Sara Berki at the ARN KIX Country hole.

Players were also able to take part in a cycling challenge from UnLtd’s charity partner TRACTION and hear about the important work they do with at-risk young people through their mentoring programs and evidence-based bike building .

Ben Peel, QLD Sales Director at oOh!media said:

“We love supporting the UnLtd Open and spending the day outdoors connecting with the rest of the industry for a cause so important to us. Well done to everyone who came along and supported the day and helped raise vital funds and awareness for the work UnLtd does for young people at risk.”
