Cole Younger is pleading not guilty to both counts of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery

RAPID CITY, SD (KEVN) – The man accused of killing a woman and carjacking a carpool driver last month pleaded not guilty to both charges in court Monday morning.

Cole Younger, 35, is charged with the first-degree murder of Brandi Snowfly, 41, at the Rodeway Inn and the first-degree robbery of a carpool driver in Rapid City on 12 May. Younger pleaded not guilty to both charges.

He then asked the judge if he could get some clarification from the investigating officers before being advised to remain silent by his lawyer. Younger has another hearing set for July 1.

He faces a mandatory life sentence if convicted of murder.
